there will be Skijoring outing at Ferguson Forest...there is no cost to attend this outing ...we will be working on the "On Bys"
to start with for this event and then we go skijoring.

Ferguson Forest Management Plan

Nov 26th Meeting

There was an open house at Ferguson Forest in Kemptville between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm to allow the Ministry of Natural Resources to display their new proposed crown lands management plan.

Murielle Ovenden attended on the 26th and reported:

It was worth going and it would be good for other users of the Ferguson forest to bring in there input as Ministry of Natural resource and Friends of F.F. are working towards a plan for trail management and a bit more structure for uses of the forest. They are very open to all comments, input, suggestions…this is good, but we have to show interest.

There were representatives of trail runners, horse carriage group, walkers, skidoo club….
